"How does the CIA's activities in Iran show that the US behaves undemocratically in its foreign policy?"

CIA’s activities in Iran show that the United States behaves undemocratically in its foreign policy by being crafty in their operations. CIA set up propaganda campaign to control Iran’s press and public and they also sent out fear to eliminate Mohammed Mossadeq’s supporters. A democratic leader will not interfere with people’s opinion, not to mention spreading propaganda all across Iran.

Another example that shows US behave undemocratically is Roosevelt commissioned a royal decree dismissing Mossadeq and made General Zahedi the prime minister. Even though this operation did not turn out the way US wanted it because supporters for Mossadeq revolt, but it is very undemocratic for US to overthrow a country’s prime minister without the process of voting and selection.
