2) To let him admit that he had been involved in the crime and the "seamy" things he had done for the White House was part of the crime.

1) The message of Doc. F is that Mr. Hunt is being investigated by the House of Judiciary Committee and admit that he had done some "seamy" things for the "White House" (which basically is the other word for President Nixon) and was also planning on other alternatives if the commitment were not met.
2) The significant of the word "package" is that the package is the dirty money Nixon is getting to pay for the crime.
3) The significant of "You only have a certain number of days to get your affairs in order." is that it shows Nixon is committing something that he wants nobody to know and wants it to be done quickly. It also shows that he wants the trace of evidence to be erased afterwards.
